Tax return preparation
Returns prepared by the CPA who reviews your situation.
Federal and state returns for real estate investors, business owners, and their families. Every return is reviewed and signed by Angel Zhen, CPA, and you can see what’s in scope before work begins.
Start the Fit CheckWho this is for
This is a good fit if you:
- Own rental property, a business, or an interest in a partnership or S corporation
- Want your return prepared by the same CPA who knows your planning decisions
- Can upload complete documents to TaxDome by the document deadline in your engagement letter
Return preparation is available for clients, usually alongside planning. Preparation-only requests are reviewed through the Fit Check.

Questions
How are fees set?
We agree on the scope and how the fee works before work begins, in a written proposal. It depends on the returns involved, the number of properties and entities, and the condition of the records. Planning, amended returns, and notice responses are quoted separately.
Do I need my prior returns?
Yes. I need your last two years of federal and state returns, with all schedules. They carry forward depreciation, losses, and elections that this year’s return depends on.
When do I need to send my documents?
Your engagement letter sets your document deadline. Documents that arrive after it usually mean an extension. An extension gives more time to file, not more time to pay.
Is everything really virtual?
Yes. You upload documents, review your return, and e-sign through TaxDome, and I send updates by email.
I’m already a client. Where do I upload?
Use Client login. You don’t need to submit the Fit Check again.
Have a decision coming up?
I take a limited number of clients, so everyone starts with the Fit Check.
